今日は寂しいニュースです。

昨日、大好きなアーティストが膵臓がんで亡くなりました。

Queen of Soulと呼ばれたアレサ・フランクリン。

グラミー賞を１８回受賞、音楽誌 "ローリング・ストーン" の、歴史上最も偉大なシンガーに選ばれ、1987年には女性として初めてロックの殿堂入りを果たしたほか、2005年には大統領自由勲章が贈られた。

昨日からレッスン以外はずっとアレサのアルバムを聴いています。

今日は私が高校生の頃に初めて聴いてからずっと好きな曲を紹介します。改めて歌詞を見て、昨夜はひっそりと涙したのでした。
